The importance of place being very important to both of us, we wanted to our wedding and our time with you to be someplace very special. We both knew and fell in love with it when we found it.
Tour the greenhouses, architectural buildings, and gardens; wander the lavender fields; and take a moment to appreciate the reverence of this land. Originally Ancestral Native Pueblos Indian land, later developed by Albert and Ruth Hanna McCormick Simm (served on House of Representatives and the first woman politician to run for Senate) as a public destination and community center and features work by regional architect John Gaw Meem. Three generations of the Rembe family have created what you experience today.
We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do.
Who doesn't love an incredible view? This might not be for anyone with a fear of heights... North America's longest aerial tram, it rises 4,000 feet in 15 minutes to a 10,378-foot summit. It is highly recommended to visit just before sunset...though you will miss it Thursday and Friday for celebrations :)
An ideal day trip 1- 1.5 hrs from Albuquerque - so much art, history and beauty to offer!
If you can extend your stay to include this desert oasis - an overnight is perfect. Pro tip - you can check in early to soak before your room is ready and can stay the full next day. Literally used for centuries - it is said that warring tribes would call truce so everyone could heal from these waters.
Our first visit to Albuquerque and Los Poblanos Farm together (and with beloved friends, Kevin and Michael) was to watch the Balloon Fiesta ...there isn't anything quite like the view from a hot air balloon!
Georgia O'Keefe and New Mexico are practically synonymous! Explore her museum in Santa Fe, her house in Abiquiu, or continue your adventure even further North to Ghost Ranch...the vistas and landscapes are gorgeous!
In 2024 Quinn and her dear friend Robin Treasure made a GOK pilgrimage to Santa Fe...maybe that seeded our wedding destination!
